"Men in Ministry"

 RUMC’s Men’s Ministry is staying busy, living up to their motto as a "head, heart, and hands" ministry. Recently, they joined with the New Horizon’s class to spread 40 cubic yards of mulch on the islands in the south parking lot, and in October, they took an active part in RUMC’s Fall Festival.

Recent Service Opportunities:

• RUMC Garage Sale (to benefit Job Networking)
• Spreading Mulch in the South Parking Lot (see below)
• Assisting with the Fall Festival (Halloween alternative for young families)

The "Men in Minstry" Plan

Now that RUMC "Men in Ministry" has gained some new momentum, we are looking to unleash a four pronged plan:

1.  Training/Leadership - Retreats, seminars, workshops

2.  Outreach - service projects and individual acts of kindness

3. Fellowship Events - helping men connect with one another, with others in our church, and with their community through fun, non-threatening events.

4.  Inspiration/Motivation and Spiritual Growth - men's dinners, small groups, mentoring, etc.
